Billion-dollar consumer goods tie-up closes in Brazil

German consumer goods company Henkel has relied on lawyers in seven of Latham Watkins LLP's offices and Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados in São Paulo to close the Brazilian leg of its multijurisdictional acquisition of US counterpart GCP’s bottling and packaging business for US$1.05 billion.
