Deloitte hires two and promotes four in Mexico

Deloitte Legal (Mexico) has strengthened its banking and intellectual property offerings by hiring two partners, coinciding with the promotion of four lawyers in other practice areas.

Ramón Bravo, 53, joins from Pan-American boutique SMPS Legal’s Mexico City office and joins Deloitte's banking and finance practice. He was previously a partner at Hogan Lovells’ Mexican legacy firm Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa from 1984, and retained his position when the firm was absorbed by Hogan Lovells in 2014, before joining SMPS in 2015. Bravo was general counsel at the Mexican branch of General Electric for two years while contracted to Barrera Siqueiros.
