Mexico’s antitrust agency faces a huge but necessary challenge to regulate the midstream and downstream sectors to encourage free-market competition, said Alejandro Faya Rodriguez, a commissioner at the country’s antitrust watchdog, speaking at Latin Lawyer's 8th annual oil & gas conference, held last month in Mexico City.
