Restructuring on the rise, but tender offers dip, say lawyers

​While tender offers have become a rarity in Latin America over the past year, restructuring has come to the fore especially in Brazil, where a sprawling scandal at state-controlled Petrobras has affected scores of businesses in the energy and construction sectors, said panellists at Latin Lawyer’s 6th Annual M&A Conference in Rio de Janeiro last month.
