Venezuela reaches settlement with US companies over oilfield assets

The Venezuelan government agreed to pay the US oil companies US$420 million for their nationalised assets/Angel Lovera

The Venezuelan government and PDVSA have reached a settlement with US oilfield services providers over the nationalisation of their Venezuelan subsidiaries, in which the companies agreed to suspend an arbitration at ICSID.
