Over 200 North American academics in the fields of law and economics have written an open letter to US President Donald Trump urging him to remove investor-state dispute settlement from NAFTA during its renegotiation – and to leave investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) clauses out of any future investment or trade agreements.
