Mr. Perez Alati is one of the most experienced and solid transactional Argentine lawyers. He represents all type of investors in a full range of projects in Argentina. He is particularly versed on cross-border and international transactions; and he regularly advises clients on Argentine corporate and contracts law.
Education: Received his law degree from the Argentine Catholic University (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1977) and his L.L.M. from Columbia University Law School (NY, USA, 1979). He also attended the Academy of American and International Law, Southwestern Legal Foundation (Dallas, Texas, 1978 - Southwestern Legal Foundation Scholarship and the John N. Johnson Scholarship).
Professional and Academic Experience:
Prior to founding PAGBAM, Mr. Perez Alati was associated with Dewey Ballantine (NY, 1979-1980) and with Argentine law firm Klein & Mairal, 1981-1991.
Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Buenos Aires; Commercial Law at the Argentine Catholic University; and Capital Markets and Financial Entities at ESEADE.
He is a member of the Social Economic Council - Universidad Di Tella; President of the Advisory Council of the Law School - Universidad Di Tella; President of the Advisory Council of I.D.E.C. - Universidad Pompeu Fabra; Member of the Advisory Committee of the BCBA for the appointment of arbitrators.
