Ninoshka Urrutia is a partner at Consortium Legal Guatemala and leads the intellectual property practice. During her career, she has been a professor of intellectual property law at Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala; President of the Intellectual Property Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala (AMCHAM); a training director of the IP Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala; and a speaker at the International Trademark Association (INTA) conference in Germany. She is a member of Intellectual Property Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Guatemala, as well as the Guatemala Bar Association, International Trademark Association (INTA) and Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). She attended the University of Alicante, Spain, where she received a master’s in intellectual property and information society law in 2008. She has postgraduate qualification in copyright and related rights, e-commerce and commercial law.
