Théra van Swaay De Marchi joined the firm in 1991, and is based in São Paulo. Her litigation practice focuses on banking law (administrative and judicial), corporate disputes and collection proceedings. Ms De Marchi worked as a foreign associate at Trenite Van Doorne, Rotterdam (1996). She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – PUC (1992), and a master’s degree in law from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (1996), having won the Chevening Award of the British Council. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Dutch.
