Foreign associate at Latham & Watkins (2001- 2002). Mr Velasco specialises in banking and finance, bankruptcy and restructuring and capital markets. He represents domestic and foreign financial institutions, as well as corporate borrowers (including private equity funds), in secured and unsecured financings across several industries. Mr Velasco’s expertise includes commercial financings, acquisition financings, real estate financings, ship financings and project financings.
