Alejandra Palacios Prieto was appointed chairwoman of Mexico’s Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE) in September 2013 for a four-year term. Currently the only woman on the seven-member board of commissioners, Palacios sat down with Alex Wilts in Mexico City to discuss gender equality in Mexico’s competition law sector.
