The Cuban government has authorised Mexican-Spanish firm AvaLerroux’s representation agreement with local firm Conabi, meaning the international firm can now visit the island to advise clients on foreign law.

The London and British Virgin Islands branches of offshore law firm Harneys have helped Cuban-focused investor LeniGas Cuba carry out a reverse takeover of Canadian listed-Knowlton Capital, allowing LeniGas to become a publicly held company in Canada and expanding its access to North American investors eager to enter Cuba’s opening economy.
