Susan Uquillas Mosquera is part of PBP’s general practice team in the Guayaquil office and often represents multinational clients with investment in Ecuador and Latin America. Her practice is focused on general corporate and transactional law. In the corporate field, Susan has participated in cross-border transactions, including negotiations and drafting of agreements, due diligence processes, including preventive advice on corporate, civil and regulatory matters. She is also skilled in the establishment of guarantees and the structuring of fiduciary business. Susan assisted Juan Manuel Marchán in the contractual matters related to the closing of the private-public partnership between Colombian construction company CONSUR and the Ecuadorian Ministry of Transportation.

Susan obtained her first law degree at Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in 2012 and is a graduate of the LLM programme from the University of Chicago Law School, class of 2015. She is admitted to practise law in Ecuador and in New York. Susan has also been a lecturer of constitutional law at Universidad Casa Grande (Guayaquil, Ecuador).
