Mexico's largest wind farm gets credit line

Clifford Chance LLP's Madrid office and Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes SC in Mexico City have helped sustainable energy investor Zuma Energía obtain a US$600 million loan to fund the construction of the largest wind farm in Mexico, located in the town of Reynosa, close to the Texas border.

The creditors - Bancomext, Banobras, Nafin, Santander and Danish export credit agency EKF - hired Ritch, Mueller, Heather y Nicolau, SC for the deal, which closed on 1 August.
