García & Bodán (Guatemala) has split from the firm it merged with two years ago, Asensio Andrade Flores & Asociados, with both firms planning to continue to collaborate as separate entities.

The firms announced the separation on 8 March. A statement by both firms cited “administrative reasons” for the split, with the two groups diverging on matters related to the running of the office. They plan to continue to work with each other on a case-by-case basis on specific projects, locally in Guatemala and in the Central American region.
