Latin American law firms continue to grow, reporting promotions in a broad range of practice areas.

Partner additions signal law firm growth for 2017 Carlos Argüelles, Pablo Laresgoiti, Fernando Jiménez de Aréchaga (jr) and Daniel López Suarez

Mexican firm Santamarina y Steta promoted transactional lawyers Carlos Argüelles and Pablo Laresgoiti to partner at the start of the year. Both have been at the firm for more than eight years. Argüelles’ practice is focused on the purchase and sale of assets, joint ventures and private and public debt restructuring. Laresgoiti advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.
